Fernandez leads M1 Oklahoma ^ University of to shutout victory over M1 Arizona ^ University of

The M1 Oklahoma ^ University of Sooners used a sparkling performance by Hunter Fernandez to take down the M1 Arizona ^ University of Wildcats, as the netminder did not allow a goal in M1 Oklahoma ^ University of's 2-0 shutout victory.

The Sooners were sparked by Kale Erickson, who tallied one goal. Erickson scored 16:13 into the second period to make the score 1-0 M1 Oklahoma ^ University of. Mason Miller picked up the assist.

M1 Oklahoma ^ University of stifled M1 Arizona ^ University of's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. By firing 38 shots on goal, the Sooners exceeded the 1.2 shot they average per game this year.

M1 Oklahoma ^ University of also got a goal from Mike Behm as well. In addition, M1 Oklahoma ^ University of received assists from Joe Vuolo, who had one.

The Wildcats excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. M1 Arizona ^ University of forced M1 Oklahoma ^ University of goalie Fernandez to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

The Sooners' Fernandez stopped 38 shots out of the 38 that he faced. M1 Oklahoma ^ University of incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Austin Wilson rejected 36 shots on goal for the Wildcats. M1 Arizona ^ University of incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
