The Ottawa Midget AAA Senators gutted out a close 4-3 win against the Cornwall Midget AAA Colts.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Marcus Stepto secured the win for Ottawa Midget AAA with a goal in the third period.

The Senators were led by Stepto, who grabbed one goal. Stepto scored 19:17 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Ottawa Midget AAA. Griffin McGregor picked up the assist.

Ottawa Midget AAA also got points from Cameron Scrivens, who also had one goal and one assist and Noah Haymes, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Ottawa Midget AAA also got a goal from Jacob Lamont as well. In addition, Ottawa Midget AAA received assists from Adrien Bisson, Jean-Sylvain Boyer, Merrick Rippon, and Tyler Newell, who each chipped in one.

Cornwall Midget AAA was helped by Noah Konink, who registered one goal. Konink scored 14:53 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Cornwall Midget AAA. Samuel Ferland provided the assist. Cornwall Midget AAA additionally got points from Hunter Duchesne, who also registered one goal and one assist. Mathieu Sabourin also scored for Cornwall Midget AAA. Other players who recorded assists for Cornwall Midget AAA were Mathew Harrington, who had one.
