Connor Noonan gave the Gloucester Midget AAA Rangers the lead in the first period, and the Cornwall Midget AAA Colts was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 3-1.

The Rangers were led by goalie Brent Pledge-Dickson, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Pledge-Dickson certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.0 entering the contest.

Gloucester Midget AAA was led by Ty Morelli, who registered one goal. Morelli scored 9:29 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Gloucester Midget AAA. Noonan provided the assist.

The Rangers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Gloucester Midget AAA also got points from Noonan, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Nicolas Seguin also scored for Gloucester Midget AAA. In addition, Gloucester Midget AAA received assists from Sean Rakowski, Cameron Sinclair, and Sam Paquette, who each chipped in one.

Cornwall Midget AAA stifled Gloucester Midget AAA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

The Colts were led by Taran Fiacco, who scored the team's only goal. Fiacco scored 13:11 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Gloucester Midget AAA. Samuel Ferland picked up the assist.

The Rangers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Greg Brassard rejected 27 shots on goal for Cornwall Midget AAA. The Colts incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
