Behind a great game by Zach Cohen, who had two goals, the Kemptville Midget AAA 73s defeated the Brockville Midget AAA Braves, 4-1. Cohen scored on the power play at 8:38 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville Midget AAA and again while on the power play 1:38 into the second to make the score 2-0 Kemptville Midget AAA.Others who scored for Kemptville Midget AAA included Patrick Yates and Joel Holtrop, who each put in one. In addition, Kemptville Midget AAA received assists from Owen Scott, John Beaton, Jack York, Ryan Pawlikowski, Mike Armstrong, Dean Bucciarelli, and Brady Elder, who each chipped in one. Brockville Midget AAA did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 14 shots on net to force 13 saves. The Braves were led by Rocco Barresi, who scored the team's only goal. Barresi scored on the power play 5:48 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Kemptville Midget AAA.
