Allard's goals lift Brockville Midget AAA to 5-2 victory over Carleton Place Midget AAA

Sutton Allard was all over the ice for the Brockville Midget AAA Braves, as he tallied two goals in Brockville Midget AAA's 5-2 win over the Carleton Place Midget AAA Canadians.

Allard found the back of the net 7:55 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Brockville Midget AAA and again while 4:55 into the third to make the score 2-1 Brockville Midget AAA.

The Braves stifled Carleton Place Midget AAA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Brockville Midget AAA bested its season scoring average. This season, the Braves average 2.5 goals per contest. Brockville Midget AAA's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Brockville Midget AAA also got points from Rocco Barresi, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Brockville Midget AAA also had goals scored by Jared Patterson and Ben Davy, who scored one goal each. In addition, Brockville Midget AAA received assists from Cameron Hebert and Nathan Picard, who contributed one each.

The Canadians' defense was uncharacteristically lax during the game. Carleton Place Midget AAA averages 1.8 goal allowed per game.

The Canadians were helped by Ryland Mosley, who tallied one goal. Mosley scored 5:54 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Reece Bolton picked up the assist. Spencer Marshall also scored for Carleton Place Midget AAA. Other players who recorded assists for Carleton Place Midget AAA were Brayden Campeau and Ryan Bangs, who each chipped in one.

Ryan Green made 28 saves for the Braves on 30 shots. Brockville Midget AAA incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Michael Leach rejected 18 shots on goal for Carleton Place Midget AAA. The Canadians incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
