Cameron Scissons grabbed one point to lead the Carleton Place Midget AAA Canadians to a 2-1 victory over the Smiths Falls Midget AAA Bears.

Carleton Place Midget AAA also got a goal from Oliver Carriere as well. In addition, Carleton Place Midget AAA received assists from Liam Markhauser, Spencer Marshall, and caden shwetz, who each chipped in one.

Smiths Falls Midget AAA managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Bears ended up below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game.

Smiths Falls Midget AAA was led by Connor Drost, who scored the team's only goal. Drost scored 8:27 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Sebastien Semerdjiev assisted on the tally.

Chris Cuglietta recorded 16 saves for Carleton Place Midget AAA. The Canadians incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. For Carleton Place Midget AAA, Ryan Shaw was ejected from the game. Alex Zoutis made 28 saves for the Bears on 28 shots. Smiths Falls Midget AAA registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
