The OHA U18 Midget AAA OHA U17 relied on the scoring touch of Justin Cheng, who netted two goals, to beat the Brockville Midget AAA Braves, 3-1. Cheng's tallies came on the power play at 4:33 into the third period to make the score 2-1 OHA U18 Midget AAA and on the power play 11:33 into the third to make the score 3-1 OHA U18 Midget AAA.OHA U18 Midget AAA also got points from Heath Ford, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, OHA U18 Midget AAA received assists from Julien Allard, Adam Porter, Thomas Chaulk, Aleck Forcier, and Egidio Porreca, who contributed one each. Brockville Midget AAA was led by Mark Morrison, who scored the team's only goal. Morrison scored 1:54 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Brockville Midget AAA. Brett Lannin picked up the assist. Danick Francoeur made 18 saves for OHA U18 Midget AAA on 19 shots. The OHA U17 incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Kyle Herbison rejected 20 shots on goal for the Braves. Brockville Midget AAA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
