BURLINGTON shrugs off penalties, upends KINGSTON, 4-1

BURLINGTON, which found itself down a man often, weathered KINGSTON's power play opportunities and emerged with a 4-1 victory.

BURLINGTON was led by Rachel Armstrong (A), who racked up one goal. Armstrong (A) scored 8:14 into the first period to make the score 2-0 BURLINGTON. Olivia White assisted on the tally.

BURLINGTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. BURLINGTON surpassed its usual scoring output this season. BURLINGTON has scored at the pace of 1.9 goal per game during the current campaign.

BURLINGTON also got a goal from Jade Mancini as well. More assists for BURLINGTON came via Aimee Raithby, who had two and Kiana Tobia, Taylor Davison, and Sydney Davison, who each chipped in one.

KINGSTON stifled BURLINGTON's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Dagny Hudspeth made 18 saves for BURLINGTON on 19 shots. BURLINGTON incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Whitney Morton took the loss and made three saves before being replaced by Kathryn Jalink who made 17 saves. KINGSTON incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
