Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, WHITBY battled back to claim a 3-2 victory over BLUEWATER. WHITBY never led in the game until netting the game winner. WHITBY trailed 2-0 after a goal by BLUEWATER's Erin Ross at 7:00 in the second period. WHITBY tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Makayla Mori at 10:02 in the second period. WHITBY got the game winner at 3:28 in the third period on a goal by Mori. Samantha Isbell was all over the ice for WHITBY, as she tallied one goal and two assists in the win. WHITBY also got a goal from Victoria Howran as well. In addition, WHITBY received assists from Brooklyn Bastarache, who had one and Briana Colangelo, who had two. BLUEWATER was helped by Bridgid Goris, who tallied one goal. Goris scored 6:23 into the second period to make the score 1-0 BLUEWATER. Sierra Burt (A) provided the assist. More assists for BLUEWATER came via Emma Forcey (C), Carly Wouters (A), and Madison Melo, who contributed one each. Rachel McQuigge recorded 15 saves for WHITBY. WHITBY incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Morgan Baker made 25 saves for BLUEWATER on 28 shots. BLUEWATER incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
