DURHAM WEST and LONDON skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

DURHAM WEST trailed LONDON by three in the second period, but LONDON did not give up and the game ended in a 3-3 (OT) tie.

DURHAM WEST put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow LONDON to score on any of its four power plays.

DURHAM WEST was helped by Jaden Head, who registered one goal. Head scored 36 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-1 LONDON. Maria Dominico assisted on the tally. DURHAM WEST additionally got points from Alexandra Maw, who also had one goal and one assist. Charlea Pedersen also scored for DURHAM WEST. More assists for DURHAM WEST came via Natalie Wozney, who had two and Taylor Hicks and Kirsten MacDougall (A), who each chipped in one.

LONDON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

LONDON was helped by Lexie Adzija, who racked up one goal. Adzija scored 10:24 into the first period to make the score 2-0 LONDON. Jordan Beshara picked up the assist. Others who scored for LONDON included Katreena Whiteye and Molly Crossman, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for LONDON were Aynsley Harrison, Emily Bowman, and Ella Shelton, who contributed one each.

DURHAM WEST's Tera Hofmann stopped 18 shots out of the 21 that she faced. DURHAM WEST incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Lauren Dubie rejected 19 shots on goal for LONDON. LONDON incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
