Melissa Misztal gave ETOBICOKE a 3-2 (OT) victory over AURORA when she scored 4:45 into the extra period. ETOBICOKE was paced by Misztal, who finished with one goal. ETOBICOKE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three AURORA power plays. AURORA was unable to stop ETOBICOKE from sending pucks towards the net, and ETOBICOKE eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. ETOBICOKE also got points from Willow Corson (A), who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. ETOBICOKE also got a goal from Shaelyn Waite (A) as well. Other players who recorded assists for ETOBICOKE were Christina Chin, who had two and Julie Patricio and Rachel Santini (C), who each chipped in one. Penalties took their toll on AURORA, as its penalty kill unit let in three power play goals. AURORA could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. AURORA was helped by Hannah Daniels, who had one goal. Daniels scored 4:32 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Tori Trimble picked up the assist. AURORA additionally got points from Trimble, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, AURORA received assists from Taylor Grice and Braeden Hahnfeld, who contributed one each. Susannah Dunn made 24 saves for ETOBICOKE on 26 shots. ETOBICOKE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. AURORA's Frances Tenney stopped 31 shots out of the 34 that she faced.
