In a game where neither team could get a cushion, LEASIDE escaped with a 4-2 victory over BLUEWATER. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Kristin Della Rovere secured the win for LEASIDE with a goal in the third period. Della Rovere was all over the ice for LEASIDE, as she tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Della Rovere scored the first of her two goals at 9:39 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Della Rovere's next tally made the score 3-2 LEASIDE with 9:24 left in the third period. LEASIDE also had goals scored by Siobhan Birch and Olivia Reid, who each put in one. More assists for LEASIDE came via Megan Pardy, who had one. BLUEWATER's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. BLUEWATER averages 1.9 goal allowed per game. BLUEWATER was helped by Madison Melo, who grabbed one goal. Melo scored 4:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 BLUEWATER. Madison Davey provided the assist. BLUEWATER also got a goal from Olivia Lynch as well. Other players who recorded assists for BLUEWATER were Gillian Foote, Jessica Forcey, and Bridgid Goris, who each chipped in one. Katie Mowbray made 14 saves for LEASIDE on 16 shots. LEASIDE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities. BLUEWATER's Morgan Baker stopped 20 shots out of the 23 that she faced. BLUEWATER ended with no penalties and went 1-for-4 on the power play.
