ETOBICOKE had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-0 win over SOUTHWEST. ETOBICOKE was sparked by Brinnley Holmes (A), who registered one goal. Holmes (A) scored 3:06 into the first period to make the score 1-0 ETOBICOKE. Keanna Oshowy picked up the assist. ETOBICOKE forced SOUTHWEST's goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, taking 33 shots and forcing 29 saves. Emily OBright made 17 stops and Vanessa Despenic made 12. ETOBICOKE featured an improved defense during the game. ETOBICOKE allows 2.3 goals per game. ETOBICOKE surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, ETOBICOKE averages 1.6 goal per contest. ETOBICOKE also got a goal from Christina Chin as well. In addition, ETOBICOKE received assists from Willow Corson (A), who had two and Kassandra DeOliveira, Melissa Misztal, Julie Patricio, Riley Smith, and Mona Meshkati, who contributed one each. SOUTHWEST excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. ETOBICOKE's Susannah Dunn stopped 15 shots out of the 15 that she faced. SOUTHWEST incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
