CAMBRIDGE and LEASIDE could not settle their match and fought to a 2-2 tie. CAMBRIDGE managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. CAMBRIDGE ended up below its season average of 8.0 penalty minutes per game. CAMBRIDGE was helped by Meghan Anton, who finished with one goal. Anton scored 9:00 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Rachael Irvine provided the assist. Natasha Costello (A) also scored for CAMBRIDGE. More assists for CAMBRIDGE came via Shelby Wood, Kati Tabin, and Emily Woodhouse (A), who contributed one each. LEASIDE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five CAMBRIDGE power plays. LEASIDE kept CAMBRIDGE's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alexx Ridding made 31 saves on 33 shots. The defensemen of LEASIDE were also effective in CAMBRIDGE's zone, and came away with two goals. LEASIDE was helped by Alex Woods, who tallied one goal. Woods scored 17:00 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Samantha Jones picked up the assist. LEASIDE also got a goal from Brooklyn Sarnovsky as well. Other players who recorded assists for LEASIDE were Rachel Knee and Caitlin Heale, who each chipped in one. Danielle Toland rejected 23 shots on goal for LEASIDE. LEASIDE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
