Emma Low-A-Chee gave TORONTO a 2-1 (OT) victory over NEPEAN when she scored 4:34 into the extra period. Low-A-Chee had a great game for TORONTO, netting two goals. NEPEAN was stymied by TORONTO's netminder Kayla Wormsbecher, who stopped 25 shots during the victory. Wormsbecher managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 1.74 prior to the game. TORONTO's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six NEPEAN power plays. TORONTO kept NEPEAN's goalie busy throughout the game, and Celine Tessier made 30 saves on 32 shots. Avery Mitchell also scored for TORONTO. In addition, TORONTO received assists from Haley Shugart and Neve Van Pelt, who each chipped in one. NEPEAN was led by Samantha Bouley, who scored the team's only goal. Bouley scored 11:03 into the second period to make the score 2-1 TORONTO. Katie Rankin picked up the assist. TORONTO incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. NEPEAN incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
