LONDON failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and TORONTO shook off a number of penalties to win, 4-1. TORONTO was sparked by Claire Thompson, who racked up one goal. Adzija scored 5:29 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Aynsley Harrison assisted on the tally. TORONTO's Kayla Wormsbecher stopped 17 shots out of the 18 that she faced. TORONTO incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Molly Jenkins recorded 23 saves for LONDON. LONDON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
