Alexander's big game bests ETOBICOKE in 5-2 OTTAWA win

OTTAWA had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over ETOBICOKE.

OTTAWA got the win behind a great game by Shana Alexander, who had two goals and one assist. Alexander scored the first of her two goals at 7:27 into the first period to make the score 1-0 OTTAWA. Maggie Knott (A) provided the assist. Alexander's next tally made the score 2-0 OTTAWA with 5:08 left in the first period. Tasza Tarnowski (C) picked up the assist.

OTTAWA outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, OTTAWA averages 1.9 goal per contest.

OTTAWA additionally got points from Knott (A), who also tallied one goal and one assist. OTTAWA also had goals scored by Kassidy Ford and Coralie Larose, who scored one goal each. More assists for OTTAWA came via Anonda Hoppner (A), who had two and Sophie Rodenburg, Melanie Sweet, Sydney Lyndon, and Chantal Gudbranson, who each chipped in one.
