BLUEWATER boosted by Scott's play in net, beats CAMBRIDGE 2-1

Holly Scott had a standout game with 27 saves, and BLUEWATER beat CAMBRIDGE 2-1.

BLUEWATER was led by Jessica Forcey, who tallied one goal. Forcey scored 17:54 into the third period to make the score 2-1 BLUEWATER. Carly Wouters (A) assisted on the tally.

Madison Melo also scored for BLUEWATER. More assists for BLUEWATER came via Gillian Foote and Madeleine Burnett, who contributed one each.

CAMBRIDGE managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. CAMBRIDGE ended up below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game.

CAMBRIDGE was led by Emily Woodhouse (A), who scored the team's only goal. Woodhouse (A) scored 8:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CAMBRIDGE. Shelby Wood picked up the assist.

BLUEWATER incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Alexx Ridding made 14 saves for CAMBRIDGE on 16 shots. CAMBRIDGE registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
