OAKVILLE falls to SOUTHWEST in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

SOUTHWEST's Angeline Taiariol (A) scored 2:44 into overtime to beat OAKVILLE, 4-3 (OT).

SOUTHWEST overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. SOUTHWEST trailed 3-1 after a goal by OAKVILLE's Maddie Sisokin at 14:01 in the second period. SOUTHWEST tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Taiariol (A) at 18:59 in the third period.

Taiariol (A) was all over the ice for SOUTHWEST, as she tallied two goals and two assists in the win.

SOUTHWEST managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. SOUTHWEST ended up below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game. SOUTHWEST found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. SOUTHWEST has scored at the pace of 1.1 goal per game during the current campaign. SOUTHWEST got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
