CAMBRIDGE and LONDON skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

LONDON found itself down againt CAMBRIDGE, but battled back to secure to a 3-3 (OT) tie.

CAMBRIDGE was led by Emily Woodhouse (A), who had one goal and one assist. Woodhouse (A) scored 3:45 into the second period to make the score 2-0 CAMBRIDGE. Natasha Costello (A) provided the assist. Others who scored for CAMBRIDGE included Carly AuCoin and Rachael Irvine, who scored one goal each. More assists for CAMBRIDGE came via Shelby Wood, Abby Lafreniere, Sarah Verbeek, and Meghan Anton, who each chipped in one.

LONDON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. CAMBRIDGE was unable to stop LONDON from sending pucks towards the net, and LONDON eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

LONDON was helped by Natalie Warecki, who racked up one goal. Warecki scored 13:43 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Courtney Simpson picked up the assist. LONDON also got points from Ella Shelton, who also registered one goal and one assist. LONDON also got a goal from Bryce Desa as well. In addition, LONDON received assists from Sydnee Baker, who had one and Aynsley Harrison, who had two.

Caitlin Kroetsch rejected 32 shots on goal for CAMBRIDGE. CAMBRIDGE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Molly Jenkins recorded 17 saves for LONDON. LONDON incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
