TORONTO and BARRIE skate to 1-1 (OT) tie

TORONTO trailed BARRIE by one in the first period, but BARRIE did not give up and the game ended in a 1-1 (OT) tie.

TORONTO stifled BARRIE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. BARRIE was unable to stop TORONTO from sending pucks towards the net, and TORONTO eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

TORONTO was led by Celine Frappier, who scored the team's only goal. Frappier scored 2:12 into the second period to make the score 1-1.

BARRIE excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

BARRIE was led by Avery Reeves, who scored the team's only goal. Reeves scored 12:01 into the first period to make the score 1-0 BARRIE. Danika Phillips provided the assist.

TORONTO's Kayla Wormsbecher stopped 16 shots out of the 17 that she faced. TORONTO incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Briar Hughes rejected 33 shots on goal for BARRIE. BARRIE incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
