WATERLOO's Megan Fergusson scored 1:25 into overtime to beat ETOBICOKE, 3-2 (OT).

Although WATERLOO was up by as many as two goals in the second period, ETOBICOKE kept the game interesting by staging a comeback that ultimately fell short. ETOBICOKE got to within 2-1 on a goal by Shaelyn Waite (A) at 11:03 in the third period.

Fergusson had a great game for WATERLOO, netting two goals.

WATERLOO managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. WATERLOO ended up below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game.

WATERLOO also got a goal from Lexi Templeman as well. More assists for WATERLOO came via Olivia Wells, Megan Johnston, and Jennifer Newcombe, who each chipped in one.

ETOBICOKE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three WATERLOO power plays.
