TORONTO and WATERLOO skate to 2-2 (OT) tie

TORONTO found itself down againt WATERLOO, but battled back to secure to a 2-2 (OT) tie.

TORONTO forced WATERLOO goalie Cohen Myers to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

TORONTO was helped by Erin Near, who had one goal. Near scored 3:34 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Camryn Tait assisted on the tally. Claudia Black also scored for TORONTO. More assists for TORONTO came via Celine Frappier, Taylor Baker, and Blaire Allison, who contributed one each.

WATERLOO was helped by Lexi Templeman, who tallied one goal. Templeman scored 10:32 into the first period to make the score 1-0 WATERLOO. Sarah Rettinger picked up the assist. WATERLOO also got points from Brooklyn Cole, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, WATERLOO received assists from Kacie Martin and Carley Olivier, who each chipped in one.

Kayla Wormsbecher made one save before being replaced by Stephanie Neatby, who took the tie and made 12 saves. TORONTO incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Myers recorded 30 saves for WATERLOO. WATERLOO incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
