LONDON's Baker deadly on offense in 3-1 win against SOUTHWEST

Sydnee Baker had two goals to lead LONDON to a 3-1 victory over SOUTHWEST.

Baker scored at 1:04 into the third period to make the score 2-1 LONDON and again while 16:55 into the third to make the score 3-1 LONDON.

LONDON's Lauren Dubie was a brick wall in net, as she came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past her. Dubie certainly lowered her goals against average, which was 2.41 entering the contest.

LONDON stifled SOUTHWEST's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Lexie Adzija also scored for LONDON. In addition, LONDON received assists from Emily Bowman, who had two and Bryce Desa and Jordan Beshara, who contributed one each.

SOUTHWEST was led by Angeline Taiariol (A), who scored the team's only goal. Taiariol (A) scored 10:33 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jillian Crane picked up the assist.

LONDON incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. SOUTHWEST's Emily OBright stopped 18 shots out of the 21 that she faced. SOUTHWEST incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
