BURLINGTON put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow BARRIE to score on any of its six power plays. BURLINGTON forced BARRIE goalie Briar Hughes to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

BURLINGTON was led by Olivia White, who scored the team's only goal. White scored 3:41 into the second period to make the score 1-0 BURLINGTON. Robin Ketcheson provided the assist.

BARRIE excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.
