BARRIE found itself down againt BURLINGTON, but battled back to secure to a 1-1 (OT) tie. BURLINGTON put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow BARRIE to score on any of its six power plays. BURLINGTON forced BARRIE goalie Briar Hughes to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. BURLINGTON was led by Olivia White, who scored the team's only goal. White scored 3:41 into the second period to make the score 1-0 BURLINGTON. Robin Ketcheson provided the assist. BARRIE excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. BARRIE was led by Michelle Morrison, who scored the team's only goal. Morrison scored 9:04 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Jillian Banks assisted on the tally. BURLINGTON's starting goalie, Nadia Rupoli, made 20 saves and finished with the tie before she was taken out in favor of Dagny Hudspeth, who stopped one shot. BURLINGTON incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Hughes rejected 33 shots on goal for BARRIE. BARRIE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
