BURLINGTON boosted by Hudspeth's play in net, beats BLUEWATER 2-1

Dagny Hudspeth stood on her head and made 26 saves to lead BURLINGTON to a 2-1 victory over BLUEWATER.

BURLINGTON was sparked by Taylor Davison, who racked up one goal. Davison scored 9:41 into the third period to make the score 2-1 BURLINGTON.

BURLINGTON put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow BLUEWATER to score on any of its five power plays.

BURLINGTON also got a goal from Rachel Armstrong (A) as well. In addition, BURLINGTON received assists from Kiana Tobia and Jade Mancini, who each chipped in one.

BLUEWATER stifled BURLINGTON's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

BLUEWATER was led by Jessica Forcey, who scored the team's only goal. Forcey scored 6:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 BLUEWATER. Carly Wouters (A) assisted on the tally.

BURLINGTON incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Morgan Baker made 26 saves for BLUEWATER on 28 shots. BLUEWATER incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
