WHITBY beat MISSISSAUGA, 3-1, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

WHITBY took over the lead for good with a goal by Alicia Pallister at 5:22 in the first period. Rebecca Hall provided the assist.

WHITBY was paced by Breanna Bedborough, who racked up one goal. Bedborough scored 3:41 into the second period to make the score 2-0 WHITBY.

WHITBY also got a goal from Samantha Isbell as well. In addition, WHITBY received assists from Mikayla Mori, who had one.

MISSISSAUGA stifled WHITBY's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. MISSISSAUGA did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. MISSISSAUGA puts an average of 4.0 pucks into the net per game.

MISSISSAUGA was led by Lindsay Agnew (C), who scored the team's only goal. Agnew (C) scored 5:06 into the second period to make the score 2-1 WHITBY. Daryl Watts picked up the assist.

WHITBY's Rachel McQuigge stopped 14 shots out of the 15 that she faced. WHITBY incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Lin Han made 24 saves for MISSISSAUGA on 27 shots. MISSISSAUGA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
