ETOBICOKE blows out BURLINGTON, 6-3

ETOBICOKE had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-3 win over BURLINGTON.

ETOBICOKE was led by Willow Corson, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Corson scored 14:33 into the second period to make the score 4-2 ETOBICOKE.

ETOBICOKE found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. ETOBICOKE averages 2.5 goals per game.

ETOBICOKE additionally got points from Christina Chin, who also tallied one goal and one assist. ETOBICOKE also had goals scored by Taylor Jackson, Niamh Haughey, Mona Meshkati, and Rachel Santini, who scored one goal each. In addition, ETOBICOKE received assists from Melissa Misztal, who had two and Kassandra DeOliveira, Shaelyn Waite, and Keanna Oshowy, who each chipped in one.

BURLINGTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

BURLINGTON was helped by Sydney Davison, who registered one goal. Davison scored 13:30 into the third period to make the score 5-3 ETOBICOKE. Others who scored for BURLINGTON included Kiana Tobia and Rachel Armstrong (A), who each put in one. More assists for BURLINGTON came via Ashley Money (A), Megan Laviolette, and Trisha Cho, who contributed one each.

ETOBICOKE's Susannah Dunn stopped 27 shots out of the 30 that she faced. ETOBICOKE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Nadia Rupoli made 20 saves for BURLINGTON on 25 shots. BURLINGTON totaled 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play.
