BURLINGTON tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but BLUEWATER would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-1.

BLUEWATER made the score 3-0 on a goal by Sierra Burt at 14:50 in the second period, and BURLINGTON got as close as 3-1 when Kiana Tobia scored 2:28 into the third period.

BLUEWATER was led by Madison Davey, who grabbed one goal. Davey scored 4:44 into the second period to make the score 2-0 BLUEWATER. Bridgid Goris assisted on the tally.

BLUEWATER's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four BURLINGTON power plays.

BLUEWATER also got points from Gillian Foote, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for BLUEWATER were Erin Ross, Emma Forcey (C), and Madison Melo, who contributed one each.

In addition, BURLINGTON received assists from Olivia White and Megan Laviolette, who each chipped in one.

Morgan Baker made 22 saves for BLUEWATER on 23 shots. BLUEWATER incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Nadia Rupoli rejected 21 shots on goal for BURLINGTON. BURLINGTON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
