MISSISSAUGA's Falzone deadly on offense in 6-0 win against OTTAWA

MISSISSAUGA relied on the scoring touch of Rose Falzone, who netted two goals, to beat OTTAWA, 6-0.

Falzone scored at seven seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 MISSISSAUGA and again while 5:07 into the second to make the score 2-0 MISSISSAUGA.

MISSISSAUGA put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow OTTAWA to score on any of its five power plays. MISSISSAUGA found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. MISSISSAUGA has scored at the pace of 3.5 goals per game during the current campaign.

MISSISSAUGA also got points from Lindsay Agnew (C), who also grabbed one goal and one assist. MISSISSAUGA also got a goal from Stephanie Gava as well. In addition, MISSISSAUGA received assists from Daryl Watts, who had three and Leah Galati, Emily Pinto, Mikyla Grant-Mentis, and Natalie Marcuzzi (A), who each chipped in one.

Lin Han made 17 saves for MISSISSAUGA on 17 shots. MISSISSAUGA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tanya Winchcombe took the loss and made 10 saves before being replaced by Jennifer Walker who made nine saves. OTTAWA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
