LONDON wins tough contest against BLUEWATER, 4-2London Sports Park Wed, Sep 30, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The game between LONDON and BLUEWATER was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end LONDON emerged with a 4-2 win. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Lexie Adzija at 11:25 of the third period. LONDON got the win with help from a great game by Adzija, who had two goals and one assist. Adzija scored the first of her two goals at 12:59 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Sydnee Baker picked up the assist. Adzija's next tally made the score 3-2 LONDON with 8:35 left in the third period. Baker assisted on the tally. LONDON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. LONDON also got points from Baker, who also racked up one goal and two assists. BLUEWATER's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three LONDON power plays. BLUEWATER was helped by Emma Forcey, who had one goal. Forcey scored 4:13 into the first period to make the score 2-1 BLUEWATER. Emily John picked up the assist. Olivia Lynch also scored for BLUEWATER. In addition, BLUEWATER received assists from Madison Davey, Carly Wouters, and Sierra Burt, who each chipped in one. Lauren Dubie rejected 25 shots on goal for LONDON. LONDON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Holly Scott made 24 saves for BLUEWATER on 27 shots. BLUEWATER incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
