Alyssa Moyer had a standout game with 33 saves, and BARRIE beat CAMBRIDGE 2-1. BARRIE was sparked by Gabby Chenard, who tallied one goal. Chenard scored 14:38 into the third period to make the score 2-1 BARRIE. Dallas Dawson picked up the assist. BARRIE excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. BARRIE found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 10 shots against CAMBRIDGE's defense. Kara Washer (A) also scored for BARRIE. In addition, BARRIE received assists from Michelle Morrison and Grace Fenton, who each chipped in one. CAMBRIDGE managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. CAMBRIDGE finished below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game. CAMBRIDGE forced BARRIE goalie Moyer to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. CAMBRIDGE was led by Natasha Costello, who scored the team's only goal. Costello scored 6:18 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Abby Lafreniere assisted on the tally. BARRIE incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. CAMBRIDGE's Alexx Ridding stopped eight shots out of the 10 that she faced.
