Princeton University beats M2 New Jersey Institute Technology 5-4 after comeback scare

Princeton University survived a determined comeback attempt by M2 New Jersey Institute Technology on the way to a 5-4 win.

Princeton University made the score 5-3 on a goal by Robert Buline at 11:54 in the third period, and M2 New Jersey Institute Technology got as close as 5-4 when David Ferrero scored 19:30 into the third period.

In a losing effort, M2 New Jersey Institute Technology was led by Michael Crincoli, who grabbed two goals and one assist. Crincoli scored the first of his two goals at 15:19 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Philip Lelikov assisted on the tally. Crincoli's next tally made the score 2-1 M2 New Jersey Institute Technology with 14 seconds left in the first period. Chris Murphy picked up the assist.

Princeton University forced M2 New Jersey Institute Technology goalie Andrew Irizarry to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.
