Kevin Bechard registered two points to lead the M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of Wolverines to a 5-2 victory over the M1 Rochester College Warriors.

M1 Rochester College was unable to stop M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of from sending pucks towards the net, and the Wolverines eventually piled up 53 shots on goal.

M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of also got points from Nic Laburn, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Gino Darin also scored for M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of. More assists for M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of came via Tyler Dalton, who had three and Andrew Shalawylo, Troy Saunders, and Ryan Urso, who each chipped in one.

The Warriors put 24 shots on net during the contest, more than the 1.3 they average per game.

M1 Rochester College was helped by Ryan Jaros, who tallied one goal. Jaros scored on the power play 11:19 into the second period to make the score 2-2. The Warriors had gotten the advantage when M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of's Thaddeus Zak was sent off for slashing. Shawn Adam assisted on the tally. M1 Rochester College also got a goal from Brandon Mezuk as well. In addition, M1 Rochester College received assists from Jacob Burford and Brock Malatches, who contributed one each.

The Wolverines' Nate Ferris stopped 22 shots out of the 24 that he faced. M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Brenden Kruckenberg rejected 48 shots on goal for M1 Rochester College. The Warriors totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. M1 Rochester College ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Adam was ejected from the game.
