Huge game by Wickes boosts M1 Rochester Institute of Technolo over M1 Ithaca College, 11-6

John Wickes had two goals and two assists to lead the M1 Rochester Institute of Technolo Tigers to an 11-6 victory over the M1 Ithaca College Bombers.

Wickes scored at 6:24 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Rochester Institute of Technolo and again while 5:22 into the second to make the score 7-3 M1 Rochester Institute of Technolo.

M1 Rochester Institute of Technolo's penalty kill excelled, as the Tigers gave up zero goals despite allowing eight power plays.

M1 Rochester Institute of Technolo stifled M1 Ithaca College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Tigers found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. M1 Rochester Institute of Technolo averages 2.9 goals per game. Ryan Krohto also scored for M1 Ithaca College. More assists for M1 Ithaca College came via Bob Wassel, who had two and Collin Bradley and Andy Rossler, who contributed one each.

M1 Rochester Institute of Technolo's Tucker Kelly stopped 29 shots out of the 35 that he faced. Dylan Meyer took the loss and made 19 saves before being replaced by Sam Attias who made 33 saves.
