Goulah stymies M1 Rochester College, M1 Oakland University wins 3-1

Bryce Goulah had a standout game with 27 saves, and the M1 Oakland University Golden Grizzlies beat the M1 Rochester College Warriors 3-1.

M1 Oakland University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 12 penalty minutes.

The Golden Grizzlies were led by James Odom, who grabbed one goal. Odom scored 5:09 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Oakland University. Ryan Rotondi assisted on the tally.

M1 Oakland University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six M1 Rochester College power plays.

M1 Oakland University additionally got points from Ian Jacobs, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. M1 Oakland University also got a goal from Conor Durgan as well. More assists for M1 Oakland University came via Ioan Florea, Patrick Smiatacz, Wade Orlowski, and Josh Neumann, who contributed one each.

M1 Rochester College was held below its usual level of production. The Warriors average 3.9 goals per game.

M1 Rochester College was led by Matt Kadolph, who scored the team's only goal. Kadolph scored 5:33 into the third period to make the score 2-1 M1 Oakland University. Tj Burns provided the assist.

The Golden Grizzlies registered one goal on six power play opportunities. Zakk Olvin made 26 saves for the Warriors on 29 shots. M1 Rochester College incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
