The Peoria Rivermen's Connor P. Toomey had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-1 win over the Columbus Cottonmouths. Toomey scored at 19:56 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Peoria and again while 4:52 into the second to make the score 3-0 Peoria.Peoria outdid its season average for goals scored. The Rivermen average 3.5 goals per game. Peoria put 46 shots on net during the contest, more than the 28.1 it averages per game. Peoria additionally got points from Mike Gurtler, who also racked up three goals and two assists to lead the team in points. Cody Dion also scored for Peoria.
