Joseph Manno had one point to lead the Fayetteville FireAntz to a 5-2 victory over Mississippi RiverKings. By firing 37 shots on goal, Fayetteville exceeded the 23.4 shots it averages per game this year. Fayetteville also got points from Cole Wilson, who also registered one goal and one assist. Kyle Gibbons also scored for Fayetteville. In addition, Fayetteville received assists from Nicholas Rivait, Dalton Jay, Tayler Thompson, Chris Porter, and Devin Stuermer, who contributed one each and Nick Lazorko and Josh McQuade, who each chipped in two. Mississippi RiverKings was led by Matt Harrington, who racked up two goals. Harrington scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 19:36 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Mississippi RiverKings had taken the advantage when the FireAntz's Manno got sent off for goalie interference. Mike Grace assisted on the tally. Harrington's next tally on the power play made the score 5-2 Fayetteville with 39 seconds left in the third period. Charles Mosey picked up the assist. More assists for Mississippi RiverKings came via Cullen Bradshaw and Tim Boyle, who contributed one each. Parker Van Buskirk made 20 saves for Fayetteville on 22 shots. The FireAntz totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Peter Di Salvo took the loss and made 21 saves before being replaced by Garrett Sheehan who made 11 saves. Mississippi RiverKings totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play.
