Adam Pawlick was all over the ice for the Pensacola Ice Flyers, as he tallied one goal and three assists in Pensacola's 6-2 win over the Louisiana IceGators. Pawlick scored 15:42 into the third period to make the score 5-1 Pensacola. Stephen Buco picked up the assist. Pawlick dished an assist on Drew Baker's goal that made the score 1-0 Pensacola at 16:27 into the first period. He then added assists on Tyler Amburgey's goal at 11:06 into the third and on Joe Caveney's goal at 16:12 into the third.The Ice Flyers pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 14 penalty minutes. Pensacola surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Ice Flyers average 3.1 goals per contest. Pensacola's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals. Pensacola additionally got points from Caveney, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Pensacola included Josh Cousineau and Jeremy Gates, who scored one goal each. In addition, Pensacola received assists from Corey Banfield, who had two and Brandon Zurn, Joseph Holka, and David Segal, who contributed one each. By firing 33 shots on goal, Louisiana exceeded the 24.6 shots it averages per game this year. The IceGators were helped by Jeremy Boyer, who tallied one goal. Boyer scored on the power play 17:52 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Louisiana had taken the advantage when the Ice Flyers' Cousineau got sent off for holding. Dylan Hood assisted on the tally. Louisiana also got points from Luke Sandler, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Louisiana came via Mike Kavanagh and Ben Kramer, who each chipped in one. Pensacola's John McLean stopped 31 shots out of the 33 that he faced. The Ice Flyers registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Adam Courchaine made 22 saves for the IceGators on 28 shots. Louisiana incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
