Huntsville falls to Mississippi RiverKings in overtime, 3-2 (OT)PharmacyFirst Ice Tue, Feb 23, 2016 Story by Narrative Science.
Todd Hosmer gave Mississippi RiverKings a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Huntsville Havoc when he scored 3:56 into the extra period. The Havoc's offense was clicking better than usual and put 34 shots on goal during the game, better than the 26.4 shots per game they average. Huntsville was helped by John Lidgett, who had one goal. Lidgett scored 18:22 into the second period to make the score 1-1. John McGinnis provided the assist. Scott Henegar also scored for Huntsville. More assists for Huntsville came via Joshua Ranalli, Matt Robertson, and Kyle McNeil, who each chipped in one. Garrett Sheehan recorded 32 saves for Mississippi RiverKings. Mississippi RiverKings registered two goals on seven power play opportunities. The Havoc's Kevin Genoe stopped 28 shots out of the 31 that he faced.
