Linden Bahm scored the clinching goal in a shootout, and Mississippi RiverKings picked up the extra point in a 5-4 (2-1 SO) win over the Louisiana IceGators.

Mississippi RiverKings came back from a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. Mississippi RiverKings was down 4-1 after a power play goal by the IceGators' Hood at 5:32 in the second period. Mississippi RiverKings knotted things up at 4-4 on a goal by Bahm at 9:16 in the third period.

Bahm had two goals and one assist to lead Mississippi RiverKings. Bahm scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 10:24 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Louisiana. Mississippi RiverKings earned a power play opportunity when Eric Witzel was put in the box for tripping. Sam Higgins assisted on the tally.
