Shawn Skelly was all over the ice for Macon Mayhem, as he tallied two goals in Macon Mayhem's 3-1 win over the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

Macon Mayhem put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Pensacola to score on any of its five power plays. The 26 shots that Macon Mayhem put on net surpassed Macon Mayhem's average of 22.6 shots per game this season.

Macon Mayhem also got a goal from Lucas LaBelle as well. In addition, Macon Mayhem received assists from Anton Lennartsson, who had two and Zach Josepher and Jeff Sanders, who contributed one each.

The Ice Flyers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Pensacola was led by Mike Krieg, who scored the team's only goal. Krieg scored 14:39 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Dean Moore picked up the assist.

Curtis Martinu rejected 22 shots on goal for Macon Mayhem. Macon Mayhem incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Brent Troyan recorded 23 saves for the Ice Flyers. Pensacola incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
