Mississippi RiverKings climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat the Huntsville Havoc, 4-3. Mississippi RiverKings let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Mississippi RiverKings took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Brandon Vossberg at 12:05 in the third period. Mississippi RiverKings went down 2-0 after Huntsville's Jeremy Beirnes put the puck home at 15:39 in the first period. After tying things up at 3-3 on a goal by Matt Robertson at 12:44 in the third, Mississippi RiverKings got the game-winner from Cullen Bradshaw at 15:57 in the third period. Mississippi RiverKings was led by Bradshaw, who had one goal. Mississippi RiverKings excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. By firing 36 shots on goal, Mississippi RiverKings exceeded the 23.9 shots it averages per game this year.
