Michael Zannella grabbed one point to lead the Huntsville Havoc to a 5-2 victory over the Columbus Cottonmouths. Huntsville managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Havoc finished below its season average of 25.0 penalty minutes per game. Huntsville surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Havoc have scored at the pace of 2.9 goals per game during the current campaign. By firing 34 shots on goal, Huntsville exceeded the 25.7 shots it averages per game this year. Huntsville additionally got points from Joshua Ranalli, who also finished with one goal and one assist. The Cottonmouths totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. For Columbus, Al Graves was ejected from the game.
