Shawn Skelly scored the clinching goal in a shootout, and Macon Mayhem picked up the extra point in a 3-2 (4-3 SO) win over the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

Macon Mayhem came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Macon Mayhem was down 2-0 after a goal by the Ice Flyers' Corey Banfield at 17:45 in the first period. Macon Mayhem knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Stephen Pierog at 16:05 in the third period.

Macon Mayhem was led by Skelly, who racked up one goal. Skelly scored on the power play 9:33 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Pensacola. Macon Mayhem had taken the advantage when Pensacola's Brandon Blair got sent off for tripping. Grasso picked up the assist.

With 36 shots on target during the contest, Macon Mayhem exceeded the 20.6 shots it averages per game this year.

Macon Mayhem was led by Skelly, who had one goal. In addition, Macon Mayhem received assists from Matt Robertson and Lucas LaBelle, who contributed one each.

The Ice Flyers kept Macon Mayhem's goalie busy throughout the game, and Garrett Bartus made 31 saves on 33 shots.

Pensacola also got a goal from Cody Dion as well. More assists for Pensacola came via Mark Rivera, Caveney, and Adam Pawlick, who each chipped in one.
