Shawn Skelly scored the clinching goal in a shootout, and Macon Mayhem picked up the extra point in a 3-2 (4-3 SO) win over the Pensacola Ice Flyers. The shootout featured 16 attempts between both teams. Pensacola's shootout goals were scored by Joe Caveney, Caveney, and Caveney. In addition to the clincher, Macon Mayhem got shootout goals from Michael Wills, Nick Grasso, and Skelly.Macon Mayhem came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory.
