The Knoxville Ice Bears relied on the sparkling performance of Brian Billett in net to grab a 4-1 win against Macon Mayhem.

Knoxville was led by goalie Billett, who finished with 35 saves while allowing one goal. Despite the solid performance, Billett will actually see his goals against average rise, as it stood at 1.0 entering the contest.

The Ice Bears were led by John Clewlow, who finished with two goals. Clewlow scored the first of his two goals at 19:37 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Knoxville. Trever Hertz assisted on the tally. Clewlow's next tally made the score 4-1 Knoxville with 6:45 left in the third period. Jake Flegel picked up the assist.
