The Fayetteville FireAntz were firing on all cylinders against Macon Mayhem, and when the final buzzer sounded FireAntz emerged with a 3-0 win.

Fayetteville got the win thanks to a great game by Josh McQuade, who had one goal and two assists. McQuade scored 4:57 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Fayetteville. Derek Elliott picked up the assist.

The FireAntz's defense was surprisingly good. Fayetteville allows 2.4 goals per game. Macon Mayhem was unable to stop the FireAntz from sending pucks towards the net, and Fayetteville eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Fayetteville also got a goal from Kyle Gibbons as well. In addition, Fayetteville received assists from Joseph Manno, who had one.

Macon Mayhem did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Macon Mayhem puts an average of 2.5 pucks into the net per game.

Macon Mayhem was led by Joshua Ranalli, who took six shots.
