Linden Bahm scored the clinching goal in a shootout, and Mississippi RiverKings picked up the extra point in a 2-1 (2-0 SO) win over the Peoria Rivermen. The shootout featured nine attempts between both teams. Mississippi RiverKings' other shootout goal was scored by Bahm.Mississippi RiverKings came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Rivermen were stymied by Mississippi RiverKings' netminder Dalton McGrath, who stopped 25 shots during the victory. Mississippi RiverKings managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time.
