Parker Van Buskirk made 41 saves to complete the shutout and led the Fayetteville FireAntz to a 4-0 win against the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Fayetteville was led by Zach Carriveau, who grabbed one goal. Carriveau scored 9:21 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Fayetteville. Derek Elliott assisted on the tally. The FireAntz stifled Pensacola's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Fayetteville's defense was surprisingly good. The FireAntz average 2.3 goals allowed per game.
