Sean Bonar stood on his head and made 31 saves to lead the Fayetteville FireAntz to a 2-1 victory over the Huntsville Havoc. Fayetteville was paced by Berkley Scott, who racked up one goal. Scott scored on the power play 18:50 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Fayetteville. The FireAntz had gained a power play chance when Nolan Kaiser was whistled for roughing. The Havoc ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Kaiser was ejected from the game.
